Dance found its way into Samantha’s life when she was 5 years old, where pink leotards and frilly skirts were all the rage. Since then, she has ventured beyond ballet and trained in various dance forms such as Hip Hop, contemporary, reggae and street jazz, under the tutelage of her mentors from O School.
As a dancer, Samantha has been crowned on many stages, emerging as champions with her team in 2012’s Super 24 and taking the 1st runner up spot in 2012’s All Babes Cineleisure Dance Competition, just to name a few.
Samantha is also a seasoned performer, having danced in many events and productions including the Cathay Organisation Recruitment Video Shoot, the Marina Bay Sands Flashmob, Choreographers’ Ball, O School Recital and The Big Groove.
Also under Samantha’s portfolio are her varied teaching experiences. Besides teaching at schools, she has also taught at places such as Amore Fitness and Dancepoint. Most recently, Samantha led Edgefield Secondary School in obtaining the Certificate of Accomplishment in 2013’s Singapore Youth Festival under the International Dance category as their choreographer.
